Referral partners

Placing a veteran with us should take one phone call.

Most of the veterans we house come to us through the VA. If you are a caseworker, a housing navigator, a social worker, a chaplain, or a family member trying to help, you are in the right place — and you do not need to go through a process to talk to us.

What working with us looks like.

The veteran is a veteran

That is the one hard requirement. Housed2Home houses veterans, and that is what we do.

A phone call works better than a packet

You do not have to have documentation assembled before you call us. Tell us about the person and the situation, and we will tell you what we need from there.

We will tell you no quickly if it is no

If we do not have something that fits, you will hear that on the first call rather than waiting on us. Your time matters and so does the veteran’s.

Call for the current picture

What we have open changes week to week, and a phone call is the fastest honest answer we can give you. If you reach us after hours, leave it and we will call you back — we do not leave referrals sitting.

The two questions we hear first

What it costs

Every veteran’s situation is different, so we work out cost with you one to one, based on your circumstances and your finances. Call us and we will talk it through with you.

Come see it first

If you would like, you can tour the house before you decide. We would be glad to show you around.

Send us a referral.

A few lines is enough to start. Tell us who you are referring, what they need, and how to reach you, and we will take it from there.

We keep what you send between us. It goes to the people who house veterans, not to a mailing list.

Best way to reach you

We use this only to get back to you. Nothing is shared with anyone else.

Housing is what we do. Everything else, we connect you to.

We are not a clinical provider and we do not pretend to be. What we bring is a safe, comfortable house and someone who will help a veteran get to the right service for whatever else they need. If you are already working with them, we are glad to work alongside you.
