What we are here to give you
What living here is like
Ask the veterans who live here what they love about it, and you get the same answer every time.
“It feels like home.”
Who we are
Safe and comfortable housing for veterans — and that is the whole job.
Housed2Home LLC is a small housing provider in San Antonio, Texas. We keep homes for veterans: real houses on real streets, with bedrooms that belong to one person and kitchens and living rooms that get shared the way a home gets shared.
We are not a treatment center and we are not a shelter. What we offer is simpler than either, and for a lot of veterans it is exactly what was missing — somewhere safe and comfortable to live while you get steady on your feet.
Most of the veterans who come to us arrive through the VA. We also hear from family members, caseworkers and others who are trying to help a veteran find somewhere to land. Whoever you are, you will get the same thing: a straight answer and a real conversation.

What you can expect
Four things, and we mean all four.
A safe, comfortable place to live
Clean, quiet housing with your own room and a door that closes. Somewhere you can actually sleep through the night.
A calm, respectful environment
No noise, no chaos, and nobody looking over your shoulder. You set your own pace while you get your feet under you.
Help getting connected
Housing is what we do. If you need something beyond that, we will point you to the people who handle it and stay with you until it is sorted.
A real person who answers
Call us and you get a person, not a phone menu. If we miss you, we call you back.
The two questions we hear first
What it costs
Every veteran’s situation is different, so we do not put a number on this page. We work out cost with you individually, based on your circumstances and your finances — and we will tell you plainly what that looks like before you decide anything.
Come see it first
If you would like, you can tour the house before you decide. We would be glad to show you around — walk through the rooms, see the street it is on, and ask us anything you want to ask.
How it works
Three steps, and the first one is just talking to us.
There is no gate to get through before somebody will speak with you. That is the part we care most about getting right.

- 01
Reach out
Call us or send the form on this site. Veterans, family members, VA caseworkers and referral partners all use the same door. Tell us as much or as little as you want to start with.
- 02
We talk it through
A real conversation about your situation, what you need, and what we have open right now. There is no paperwork to get through before someone will speak with you, and no pressure to decide anything on that call.
- 03
We get you settled
We get you into a place that feels safe — your own room, your own key, a house you can settle into. Then you can breathe, and we can talk about what comes next.
Inside the homes
A house looks like a house. That is the point.
VA caseworkers and referral partners
Most of the veterans we house come to us through the VA, and we are glad to be one of the places you can place someone. Call us or send the referral form and we will tell you plainly what we have open and whether it fits the person you are trying to place. No runaround.
You can also just call. We would rather pick up the phone than trade emails.
Straight answers
The questions people ask us first.
If yours is not here, call and ask it. There is no such thing as a question we have not already heard.
If you are not sure where to start, start with a phone call.
You do not need paperwork, a referral number, or the right words. Call us, tell us what is going on, and we will take it from there.
Or send us a message and we will get back to you.
